The Post-MFA Dilemma
It has now been two weeks since I graduated. I promised myself to not apply for or take any job that I have done previously, especially the kinds of jobs with great misery attached to those experiences. Now I find that I have very little enthusiasm for anything but making - making drawings, making sculpture, making cake, making the house clean - but not joy in making new resume cover letters for jobs that could lead me back to that place of no art community and very little making - if any at all. Scary. But being seriously broke is also very scary.

The pictures of the hand-drawn animals reminds me of the parrot & turtle in the back of magazines to try and re-create. Then if they like the way you draw, you get an official certificate of completing cartoon art-school....
I love the blog spot..very cool informative and glowy stuff.
The guy in my neighborhood who posts these flyers says on them that all the profits go to his dog Natalie.
Every animal has exceptional eyelashes in his portrait drawings.
Okay, I'm your mother--so what!!?? I love your stuff--you are just as funny as you were in 1967--in Hawaii--when you used to collect sea slugs from tidepools --carrying them in your plastic pail--announcing that you were going to start a sea-slug aquarium..flummoxed-- we bought you a Jacques Cousteau book instead...
